  1. Vehicle Data Entry

  2. To perform Scan Tool functions scroll to Scan Diagnostics and press Enter Enter Scroll to Scan Diagnostics

  3. Scroll to the vehicle type you are working with and press Enter Enter Scroll to USA Heavy Duty Standard

  4. Scroll to the type Vehicle Connector, 9 – Pin Deutsch Enter Scroll to 9-Pin Deutsch

  5. Press Enter if the correct connector has been selected Enter

  6. Select the controller the vehicle is equipped with, scroll to SAE J1939/CAN controller Enter Scroll to SAE J1939/CAN

  7. Select the Computer you wish to test, scroll to Engine and press Enter Enter Scroll to Engine

  8. Select the correct cable to hook to the Vehicle, hook up the cable, turn the ignition key on

  9. For training purposes, press the Demo soft key and then press Enter Enter Press the Demo soft key
