  5. Las aves. Características generales. Las aves son animales vertebrados adaptados al vuelo, aunque algunas no pueden hacerlo (pingüinos, avestruces).

Su cuerpo se cubre de plumas, excepto las patas, lo que le permite volar con mayor facilidad porque amplían su cuerpo. Las plumas también les ayudan a mantener una temperatura constante en su cuerpo.

  18. Las aves. Características generales. REPRODUCCIÓN: Son ovíparas, es decir, se reproducen mediante huevos. Los huevos tienen cáscara y son puestos en nidos hechos por la pareja. Los huevos deben incubarse (darles calor) por parte de la pareja, que se va turnando. Los polluelos son indefensos al nacer y deben ser cuidados y alimentados por sus progenitores.
