This document outlines the goals and strategies for the Advanced Academics program in Sheldon Independent School District (ISD) for the years 2008-2010. Our primary objectives include streamlining the identification of gifted and talented (GT) students, clustering them at each grade level, and providing comprehensive professional development for teachers. Additionally, the program aims to strengthen Pre-AP and AP offerings, integrate the Texas Performance Standards Project, and enhance communication with parents and the community. Supporting initiatives like TAGT scholarships and summer camps will promote excellence in education for GT students.
