  3. Early childhood • I was born into tightly knit faimly • I moved to America after WWII to Chicago • Eventually moved to Willmette Illinois

  4. Moved to the U.S. (Chicago) at the age of 5, because of myfathers work. • Started dance at the age of 8 • 1959 enrolled in Northwestern University as a speech major • Left college my freshman year to pursue dance in Las Vegas.

  5. At the age of 18 Isigned for a 10 yr. contract for 20th century fox 1968: became a TV host specialist for CBS.

  6. In the 1964’s after staring in ‘Viva Las Vegas” I was rumored around as Elvis’ love interest Played in other movies with Pressley. (Kitten with a whip, Pleasure Seekers, The Cincinnati Kid

  7. Married Roger Smith around 1970 On November, 1992 while performing at a Casino, I fell from a 22 ft. platform landing face down. I was saved but was in a comma for 3 days.

  8. How my fame started • I used song and dance to express myself as a child. • I sang at weddings, private parties and church services. • By the age of 14 I had appeared in a number of school revuseand drama productions.
