  4. Genocide Definition of Genocide: The deliberate systematic destruction of a racial, political, or cultural group.

  5. The Genocide • Carried out by “young Turks” in 1915-16 • 1.5 million people killed • Systematic fashion • Known as the Great Crime • Started April 24 1915 • Denied by Turkey
