In Q2 2012, FIBI reported continued earnings improvement from core banking activities. The credit portfolio grew, especially in consumer credit and mortgages, leading to reduced concentration indices and improved distribution. FIBI maintained a market share of 9.2% and achieved a core capital ratio of 9%, the highest in the industry. Despite market slowdowns, capital market commissions stabilized, and net earnings totaled 285 million NIS. Operating expenses decreased, contributing to a return on equity of 10.5%.
