  4. By-Laws Article II, Section 1 B. Associate Membersenjoy rights of Association membership but shall not be entitled to vote, hold office, or chair committees. Alumni and any parent whose student is not in the marching band but is in the music program will become an associate member upon payment of $25.00. C. Volunteers serve to support the Association’s goals by donating services to the music programs. Eligibility is contingent upon meeting all mandatory school system volunteer requirements and the approval of the Band Director and the Association’s Board of Directors.

  5. By-Laws Article III, Section 6 C. The Secretary shall keep the records and minutes of all meetings, post meeting minutes on the association’s web site, and attend to all correspondence for the Association.

  6. By-Laws Article IV, Section 5 • The minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors shall be made available presented to the general membership at the next regularly scheduled meeting either by a reading of those meetings or by providing copies to those members present at the next regularly scheduled general membership meeting or by posting the meeting minutes on the Association’s web site.Copies shall also be made available to any member not in attendance who requests a copy in writing from the President.

  7. By-Laws Article VI, Section 1 The following standing committees, or additional committees, shall be appointed each year by the president of the Association as needed: • Chaperone Committee • Student Transportation Committee • Pit Crew • Outdoor Concession Committee • Indoor Concession Committee • Fund Raising Committee • Hospitality Committee • Scholarship Committee • Memory Book Committee

  8. By-Laws Article VIII, Section 1 • An Audit Committee shall consist of a chairperson and two additional members who are not members of the Board of Directors. The Auditing Committee shall be appointed by the President in MayJune to conduct the audit of the financial records of the Association after the end of the fiscal year and prior to the September general membership meeting. The Auditing Committee shall present its report of the financial condition of the Association to the members at the September general membership meeting. The fiscal year will run from JuneJuly 1 through MayJune 30.
