The Earth System Working Group (ESWG), led by Prof. Jaiho Oh, Dr. Don Middleton, and Dr. Byong Lee, is pioneering the integration of eScience frameworks to enhance Earth system research and development. Initiatives like the grid-enabled eScience framework and the Virtual Laboratory of Atmospheric Science, initiated by KISTI, exemplify significant strides in collaborative global projects. The ESWG aims to fortify partnerships and secure funding for innovative projects, including discussions held at the Bangkok meeting on CyberInfrastructure for future Earth System Development.
