Refreshable Excel Sheets • Debuted with GP v10 | Summer 2007 • Included with any GP licensing plan • Files mirror SmartList favorites in Dynamics GP • Secured via network & SQL Server security • Deployed via Reporting Tools Setup window • GP 2010 R2 included with install routine • SharePoint integrated or a simple file share • Uses a “Light License”, not a GP client one

Excel Report Builder • Debuted with GP v10 FP1/SP2 | Summer 2008 • GP v10.00.1061 • Included with license for SmartList Builder • GP 2010: Navigation List Bldr. & Drill Down Bldr., too • Helps to build more refreshable workbooks • OR recreate SLB objects for your non-GP users • If you’re using ERB in GP 2010... • Export your work to a list or a pivot table • Anyone can ‘publish’, not just the ‘sa’ user

Excel Report Builder • Publishing Excel Report Builder reports • Any user with the following credentials can publish ERB files successfully: • The ‘sa’ user • The ‘DYNSA’ user • User with db_ownerdatabase role in SQL Server • User with SysAdmin fixed server role in SQL Server • User with dbCreator fixed server role in SQL Server
