Abdurrahman Keskiner was born in Osmaniye in 1941.He completed his elemantary and secondary school  in Osmaniye .He started his high school in Osmaniye but after first year he continued his school  in İstanbul . After finishing  his education life, he worked as a substitude teacher  for a while.  In 1965 he was met with YılmazGüney during a movie shooting .Then  he became YılmazGüney’smanager.By this way he entered    Turkish film industry.He set up ”Güney Movie” with YılmazGüney . “Seyithan  Bride of Ground” is the first movie  he produced.NebahatÇehre(one of the famous actress in Turkey) and YılmazGüney  were staring  of the movie in 1968. In 1970 he produced  “Hope “ that  screenplay was based on YılmazGüney’s life story . “Hope” was the first film which was joined from Turkey  in Cannes International Film Festival.After film  He set up Umut(hope)Film Company in 1971. In 1980 He directed “Hazal” . “Hazal” is the first film that was joined  and  won the award of “The Best Film” in  San Sebestian Film Festival in Spain. After 1981 Because of the demands from aboard and also development of video industry inTurkey, He change his way and started shooting   musical films.  H e  produced  and directed  80 films during his life.
