Kolomenszkoje egy csodálatos történelmi park. Lenyűgöző kilátás nyílik a Moszkva-folyóra. 2010-ben befejezték a teljes körű rekonstrukciót. Az újjáépített palota mintegy 600 m-re van az eredeti helyétől. A fából készült palotát a világ „nyolcadik csodájaként” is említik, mert egyetlen szög, csavar, horog nélkül, tisztán fából épült. A furcsa, mesebeli épület tekervényes folyosókat és 250 szobát takar. 1994 óta az UNESCO világörökség része.
