Preparation of Research Report • Meeting in Brussels at Goethe Institut for working group coordination 22.01.2010 • Research Topics which resulted from that meeting: • 1) Teacher learning • 2) Non formal learning (Exchanges, artistic education) • 3) Awareness raising • 4) Less widely used languages • 5) Assessments/Common standards • 6) Lifelong learning • 7) Methodology/Pedagogy • 8) Research • 9) Early language learning

Preparation of Research Report • composition of a questionnaire and a template by all working group members • The targets are European Organisations working within the framework of multilingual education • on 23rd February the “go ahead” was given to all partners of the working group to distribute the questionnaire and template.

  4. Content and Aim of the Questionnaire • two parts: • general questions on language education in Europe • questions specifically relating to the 9 themes • The targets will be able to answer the general questions and at least those relating to one of the theme groups • The targets might answer also some questions of questions of the other theme groups. • Targets will help do the research the individual theme groups do for their part of the working group report

  5. Content and Aim of the Template • more general information on what kind of good practice examples there are • ‘what projects are on offer’ in the world of multilingual education • are they successful or not? • what is still lacking or what can be improved?

  6. Results so far So far no questionnaires and templates have been returned
