Library Student Student Learning Outcome • Be able to get on Delta College Library’s website and log on to the subscription online Databases on and off the campus • Understand the functions of the online databases • Be able to conduct a Boolean keyword search in Literary Resource Center, Jstore and PowerSearch • Be able to find peer-reviewed, academic research articles • Be able to evaluate and cite the retrieved sources in MLA style

  4. Conduct an Effective Keyword Search • Identify and enter keywords or phrase in the search box • Use quotation marks around a phrase or full name • Use one or more Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) to thread your keywords together in needed • Clicking on the search button
