A Scientific approach… “the holistic way” By Rita Mistry
Modern Science has increasingly moved out of nature and into the laboratory, driven by a desire to find an underlying mechanistic basis of life.
Despite all its success this approach is one sided and urgently calls for a counter balancing movement towards nature.
Only if we find ways of transforming our propensity to view and control nature in terms of parts and mechanisms we will be able to see, value and protect the integrity of nature and the interconnectedness of all things.
Traditional and Holistic treatment existed in the time of Socrates. Contrary - traditional medicine Holistic - non destructive
Holistic gradually lost its importance as lifestyle became fast which increased demands for quick and temporary pain relief.
Holistic science cannot be proved in a laboratory. If you believe no proof isnecessary. If you do not believe no proof is ever complete. Whatis proved wrong today can be proved right tomorrow (peanutallergy) What is proved right today can be proved wrongtomorrow (Antibiotics).
Holistic science is bio energy based and is not measurable (Prana, Qi, Vital Force). Food values, oxygen and water all form part of this bio energy. Vital Force cannot be measured but experienced by an individual. The task of the Vital Force is to maintain harmony , order and protect us from illness, providing immunity against factors that induces diseases.
Holistic Science… is a concept, particularly in the medical world that refers to MENTAL, PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL aspects of health. Therefore holistic science is based on 3 layers of humans.
These layers are: Mental - Spiritual Emotional - Psychic Physical - including sex, sleep, food values and 5 senses.
