Essential Knowledge for OHV Riders: Safety, Environment, and Legal Awareness

Every Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) rider must understand key aspects of safe riding. This includes obtaining appropriate training and information for safe operation, knowing how to lessen environmental impact, and understanding community relations. Riders should also be aware of the laws and obligations tied to each riding opportunity. It is crucial to know that they have permission to access these areas and recognize their contribution to maintaining them. Being informed enhances safety, respects our environment, and fosters responsible recreation.
