  2. Misconceptions about my city (Jeddah). Jeddah is a Saudi Arabian city located on the western Province of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest city in Makah province, and the population of the city stands at over 3.4 million. Jeddah is the principal getaway to Makah, which is the Islam’s holiest city, therefore Jeddah is called the gate of Makah. Jeddah is the 2nd largest city in Saudi Arabia, and is located next to the red sea, therefore people over there called there city the red sea mermaid. Regionally, Jeddah is a primary resort city of the country. Also was named a second-tier beta world city, according to Globalization and world city study group.

  3. My city is not only desert and tents !! • Jeddah city is a coastal city . This is what Americans don’t know about Saudi Arabia . A lot of people in Jeddah spend their weekend on their Chalets, enjoying the sunny day and the wonderful view of the red sea . But in the winter most of people go to camp in the desert for several days .

  4. Fishing • There are some interments Jeddah people love for example: diving , jet ski riding ,boating .For example: I always take my mother and my father fishing almost every Friday , they enjoy it very much . both of my parents are retired , so I have to take care of them as they took care of me . I told one of my American friends about fishing in Saudi Arabia ,unfortunately he didn’t believe me , but after I point to my city on the map he was amazed .
