Palau NCD Policy and Law Implementation: Wellness Through Integrated Environmental Approach

This presentation will explore the progress made in Palau's NCD policy and law implementation, focusing on an integrated environmental approach to wellness. Through harmonization of all environments including the social, cultural, political, personal, physical, behavioral, emotional, and mental aspects, this initiative aims to promote wellness regardless of health status. Over the next two years, the key areas of focus will include health in all policies through NEC, breast-feeding law, pharmacy act, and food security policy. To support these initiatives, there will be targeted technical assistance on health policies through local workshops and human resource development activities in areas such as nutrition and informatics.
