  1. PROJET #2:La Groupe de Musique

  2. Goals // Les Buts Students will work individually or in groups to create their own musical group. Afterwards, they will be responsible for creating a marketing campaign for their band that will include: • A CD (with cover and song list) • A Poster OR a ticket for one of their concerts • A 30-second radio ad that advertises either their CD or their upcoming concert

  3. CD // L’Album de Musique Students will create a CD for their band. Included in this part part of the project should be: • The band’s name • A cover and back cover for their CD • A 5 song listing on the back of the CD

  4. POSTER or TICKETAFFICHE ou BILLET Students will need to design a poster or 2 uniquely different tickets for an upcoming performance of their band. The elements that should be included in this section include: • Picture // Illustration • Band Name // Nom de Groupe • Date • Location // Lieu • Time // Heure • Price // Prix

  5. ADVERTISEMENT // LA PUBLICITÉ Students will create and record a 30-second radio ad that either advertises their upcoming concert or their brand new CD. Elements that are to be included will vary depending on what you choose to advertise. These can include: • Band Name • Name of CD • Date • Time • Location • Some song titles

  6. FRENCH TO BE USED… In this project, students will be expected to use French vocabulary and grammar that they are already familiar with as well as new concepts that we have covered this year and a couple that you will learn in the next few weeks. These include but are not limited to: • Verbs (Pouvoir, Vouloir) • Adjectifs Qualificatifs • Impératif

  7. Example of Radio Ad… Attention! Attention! Voulez-vous de la nouvelle musique extraordinaire? Si oui, achètez la nouvelle disque compacte de la groupe Les Banales, <<Comme si, Comme sa>>! Tu peux entendre les belles chansons excitantes comme <<Jaune et Noir>> et leur chanson fameuse <<Pensez! Dansez!>>. Écoutez a ce que les fans pensent de cette nouvelle disque compacte… N’hésitez pas! Procurez l’album aujourd’hui! Tu peux trouver l’album a HMV, Best Buy et Dr. Disc!
