  2. FROM THE CONTROL PANEL: Perform any of the following- Click Start> Control Panel on Windows Taskbar. For Windows 8 users, go to Apps> Windows System> select Control Panel. For Windows 10 users tap on Start> Apps> Windows System> Control Panel. Perform the below step in Control Panel-

  3. For XP users, they can double click on Add or Remove Programs option. In Vista, double click on Programs and Features. While in Windows 7 and 8, tap on Programs> Programs and Features. You need to select Category for Programs option from the View by drop down list. Click Uninstall a program in Windows 10.

  4. Do one of the following action is currently installed programs list- XP users click on antivirus product and then select Change/Remove. Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 click on Uninstall/Change after clicking on their antivirus software product.

  5. Now follow the instructions. Until and unless you restart your device, your antivirus is not fully uninstalled.

  6. FROM THE START MENU: Click on Start> All Programs/All apps> Norton Security> Uninstall Norton Security from the taskbar. Mark the check box available at the bottom if you don’t want to keep Norton Home Page as the default page as well as Norton Safe Search as your default search. Now follow the instructions.

  7. FROM START SCREEN IN WINDOWS 8/8.1: Right click on your antivirus product from the Start screen and then click on Uninstall. Tap on Norton product from Click on Uninstall/ Change from the list of installed programs. Then follow the instructions. Restart the device.
