Near-Term Metallurgical Coal Production • Flagship asset, over 6.3 Mt* of resources of high quality metallurgical coking coal • Final Environment Court consent granted • No more legal challenges • Minimal capex required for initial production • Haul road completed and site preparation commenced • Minimal infrastructure spend required to achieve sub $100 USD/t** 2. Low capex requirement for initial production • Proven road, rail and port solutions already in place • Options to increase production can leverage off existing rail and/or development of an efficient overhead conveyor system and do not require port development 3. COMPETENT PERSON STATEMENTS • The information in this presentation that relates to mineral resources and reserves for Deep Creek is based on information compiled by Adam Bonham-Carter a Competent Person who is a full time employee of Golder Associates (NZ) Limited and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Mr Bonham-Carter graduated with B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. He has sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the ‘Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves’. Mr Bonham-Carter consents to the inclusion in this presentation of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears.
