  2. Van Gogh’s Biography • When was Vincent van Gogh born? • Where was he born? • Did he have any problems in his life? • What did he do to his face? 30 March 1853 Zundert, The Netherlands He suffered from mental illness. He was poor. He cut off part of his left ear. (His ear lobe.)

  3. Paul Gauguin • He cut his ear lobe off after an arguement with his friend. What was his friend’s name? • What was the name of Vincent van Gogh’s brother? • When did Vincent van Gogh die? • How did he die? Theo van Gogh 29 July 1890 He committed suicide. He shot himself.
