  1. Stations of the Cross Reflection Questions

  2. Stations 1 and 2 • Station 1: Has anyone ever said mean or hurtful things about you, or said a lie about you? How did it make you feel? How was it resolved? Were you able to forgive those who said those things? • Station 2: Have you ever had something happen in your life that was hard for you to deal with? (Ex-someone passed away; someone was sick; a big fight happened) How did you handle it? Did you turn to God to help you through it?

  3. Stations 3, 4, and 5 • Station 3: Have you ever fallen down and hurt yourself? How did it make you feel? Falling is like making a mistake. What can we learn from the mistakes we make in our lives? • Station 4: When you are sad, what are some of the things you do to take away that sadness? Do you turn to other people, or to God to help you during those times of sadness? When was the last time you felt sad? • Station 5: Do you always help those people who ask you for help? Do you sometimes ignore them or refuse to help out? When you ask for help, are there people always there to help you out? Why should we be willing to help others out?

  4. Stations 6 and 7 • Station 6: What are some of the small things that you do that help others out? How does it make you feel when you know that you have helped another person? • Station 7: Do you mess up when trying to do things? What are some of the things that are difficult for you to do? How do you take those difficult situations and make them positive?

  5. Stations 8, 9, and 10 • Station 8: Do you often only think about yourself and your needs and problems? How often do you put others before you? When you put yourself first all the time, how does it make you feel? • Station 9: Have you ever felt defeated at doing something, or that it wasn’t worth trying anymore because you couldn’t do it? How did that make you feel? What did you do to overcome those thoughts or feelings? • Station 10: Do you often share your things with others? What are some of the things you will not share with others?

  6. Stations 11 and 12 • Station 11: When was the last time someone said something mean to you or about you? What did they say? Have you forgiven them? Will you? • Station 12: What are some of the things that you would like to see get better in the world? Are you making an effort to help support those things get better, or are you just hoping someone else will do it for you? What will it take for you to help out and try to make a difference?

  7. Stations 13 and 14 • Station 13: Is there someone you loved that has passed away? When you remember them, how do you feel and what do you remember about them? • Station 14: Have you ever had to say “Good-bye” to a friend or neighbor because they were moving to a different school or house? How hard is it to say good-bye to people you care about? Do you stay in touch with those people, think often about them, or just forget about them?
