    5. Page 5 Policy Changes Lost Transfers Students that leave with an exit code of 160 that are not enrolled in another CA public school as of Information Day (10/01/08) will be counted as dropouts by the CDE

Receiver School* – Required for students who have been involuntarily withdrawn from school for disciplinary reasons (code 165).

Page 10 Annual SSID Maintenance Summary Import and validate AM transaction; Make sure there are no errors in either step Review DSSR on Validate tab for accuracy Send transaction Review Server Summary and Server Validation report; verify that counts are accurate and that there are no errors Post transaction Repeat steps 1-5 until all students/schools submitted Generate Census reports Review Census Reports (summary & detail) Review Enrollment Summary reports (LEA & school) Review Census Server Validation Reports (error & warning) If all reports have no errors and counts are accurate, certify Enrollment Summary counts

Page 11 Timeline Reporting windows 10/1/2008-12/12/2008: AM submission 12/12/2008-1/30/2009: AM amendment period Resolve ERDs (Lost Transfers) first, then MIDs & CCEs Resolve discrepancies discovered since the deadline Deadlines 12/12/2008: Certify the Enrollment Summary 1/30/2009: Re-certify the Enrollment Summary to include changes resulting from Anomaly Resolution or amendments (in OM, EU, or AM)
