Creation>> FAll >> redemption >> restoration Genesis 1:27-29 • So God created mankind in his own image,    in the image of God he created them;    male and female he created them. • God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” • Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

  8. Creation>> FAll>> redemption >> restoration Matthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of bones of the dead and everything unclean…”

  11. Creation >> FAll >> REDEMPTION >> restoration Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. Hearing God is the central activity for reconnecting to the source and being restored to our design.

  16. Plug In Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

  20. Plug In Our part • Come to Jesus to hear, receive. • Requires humility.

  21. Creation >> FAll >> redemption >> restoration • Identity: bear God’s image, be fruitful, multiply, take dominion • Problem: unplugged from the source of life • Solution: life came to us and we can plug in by faith. • New Creation: recreated in image of God through faith.

  22. Where are you in God’s story? • What’s competing with Jesus to be your source of life? • Pray!
