  3. Indefinite Pronouns • Don’t rename a particular person, place, or thing • These Pronouns are what their name is. • Definite = exact • In = Not Definite = exact • Indefinite = Not Exact • Anyone, everyone, all, each • Most, few, some, many • Neither, either

  4. Demonstrative Pronouns • Used to rename or refer to noun • This • That • These • Those • Dem Pronoun: Please remove this. • Dem Adjective: Please remove this book. (Tells what book)

  6. Possessive Pronouns • Pronouns that show ownership • Those, mine, ours, theirs • Yours, hers, his • Its vs. it’s – Which is a contraction for It is?

  7. Reflexive Pronouns • Words that look back • What do you see in a MIRROR ? • They end in self ! • Singular: myself, yourself, herself, himself, itself • Plural: Themselves, ourselves, yourselves

  8. Intensive Pronouns Also end in -self or –selves Used with a noun or another pronoun to INTENSIFY OR EMPHASIZE, the noun or pronoun Are not necessary to the meaning of the sentence Henry Ford himself drove a car he had built in Michigan.
