  1. Peter’s Strange Speech “And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.” (Matt. 26:73 NKJV) “…way you talk gives you away.” (NAS) “…your accent gives you away.” (NIV) “… for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.” (Mark 14:70 NKJV) Matthew 26:69-75

  2. What Shall We Do?Acts 2:37 • Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38)

  3. Baptism Saves Us!1 Peter 3:21 • There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (NKJV) • Which also after a true likeness doth now save you, even baptism… (ASV)

  4. Just One Right WayActs 4:7-12 • This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief corner-stone. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:11-12)

  5. Holy Spirit Fell On Unbelievers • But Peter explained it to them in order from the beginning, saying… (Acts 11:4) • And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. (Acts 11:15)

  6. A Christian Can Sin and Be Lost! • For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: ‘A dog returns to his own vomit,’ and, ‘a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.’ (2 Pet. 2:20-22)

  7. Suffer As A Christian • But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a busybody in other people's matters. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. (1 Peter 4:15-16)

  8. Day of the Lord Will Come As A Thief in the Night • But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. (2 Peter 3:10)
