We had 61 people attend this ceremony. I would like to thank all of you who showed up and helped cook, clean and help with this Veteran’s Day remembrance. Thank you again. November 10th, Stu Baker and myself were invited and attended a very moving Escambia High School Memorial service for their fallen graduates. If Everyone understood the importance of the Post attaining its Membership percentage dates, maybe we could become the Best Post in Florida again. We are the largest Post in our District, yet we are a little behind the other Post’s. If you want to know numbers and how it works and how the Post benefits from meeting these memberships numbers, feel free to ask me or Cdr Jimmy Martin why this goal is so important. For everyone that participated in the Membership for a Service Member Day on Thanksgiving – I appreciate it, and I am sure they do too. This is important not only to let these new service members know that there is someone out there fighting for their rights and their benefits not only for our Post, but the American Legion as an organization. Please everyone be careful during these holidays that are coming up. For God and Country, Mike Auxiliary - A big THANK YOU to EVERYONE that helped out with the children’s Halloween party. We had a great turn out & the kids had a good time. The children’s Christmas party will be Dec. 10 @ 2 til 4. If you are participating please come by the Post to sign up. We need the names, ages & gender of the children for Santa to give out gifts. Also, the Angel Tree donation will start on Dec. 1. Hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday. Remember - a new year is a NEW YEAR so let’s start it out right. Caring about others is always a good way to start. For God and Country Richard Raborn Director Bingo: Our attendance has continued to fall off. We have lost money for two straight weeks. The Post cannot continue to lose money on Bingo. We have not made any money on Bonanza Cards since August, so we have changed the prices of Bonanza cards. They are now 1 card for $1.00 or 6 cards for $5.00. We have also discontinued the free Bonanza card with the Warm ups. Please come out and support the Wednesday night Bingo. Jimmy Lee Martin Bingo Chairman
