Examine the earths surface and mans responses to his topography, soils, climate, vegetation 4. Determine how the physical environment has influenced man and how man has overcome physical hardships to improve his quality of life (usually with the assistance of technology)

  5. B. The Physical Realm :(The universe-made features of our environment) 1. Write your own definition of “the Physical Realm” 2. One word for each of the following images and 3. What they tell us about the Physical Realm in relation to Geography?

  19. Summary and Reflection • On the bottom half of page 12 of your ISN, write a summary of physical and human geography using at least 5 of the words you wrote in the boxes on page 13. Explain the difference, and how they interact. • On the top of page 12 of your ISN, draw (or construct on your computer then print and paste in a cover sheet) an image that shows both Physical and Human Geographical features and make you think about the words that you discovered and questions that you developed. • Make it big, clear and colourful! • Complete this task for prep.
