About the Teacher • Grew up in Saratoga, CA • Undergrad UC Irvine – Major: Social Science Minors: Biology and Education • Single Subject Credential in Biology at SJSU • 1st year teaching, 1st year with JLS • Previously worked at a middle school with JGC doing Youth Development – Directed YELL program and others • In college, worked in middle schools for 4 years, also worked for MESA, COSMOS, and Gear Up programs

Project Cornerstone41 Developmental Assets Student Survey • Survey will be given the first week of October to 5th, 7th, 9th-12th grade students • Identify invested point person • Sample survey available to view in the main office • 7th Grade survey has 165 ques. • Surveys will be anonymous and confidential • PTA support (delivery/pick up) • Deadline – Sept 10 • For survey results to be meaningful: must have at least 50 students complete at least 75% of survey • Duration of survey approx 50min • Administered once every 5 years • Coordinated by • Amy Droletteadrolette@pausd.org • Karin Bloom kbloom@pausd.org
