Introduction Home Meet your first client. Her name is Patricia Cabell, she prefers to be called ”Pat” for short. Pat is kicking off her campaign for Michigan House of Representatives and she needs a good team of speech writers to help her. Pat has been asked to address a diverse audience of her constituents at Oakland University tonight and she needs to be well prepared. While Pat has done her homework and is up to date on current Michigan issues, a new issue has come to her attention that she knows very little about. This issue is “fracking”. For your first assignment, you will need to learn about fracking, and prepare a “go-to” list for Pat. Pat is a promising candidate and this is an important issue. Research the topic fully and do your best to create a compelling argument that can be used to defend both sides of the issue. Patricia Cabell is a rising political star and PoliGlobe has high hopes for her future. Who knows, if you do well on this assignment and Pat rises to the top, you could be writing speeches for her as gubernatorial or presidential candidate some day.
