The New I-64 Reconstruction Project Presented by Ron Morris, P.E., Missouri Department of Transportation Wednesday, October 28, 2009 Location: Boeing Building 111, Room 110A Networking/Lunch: 11:00 a.m. Presentation: 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Abstract: The presentation will cover the needs assessment that led to the project, its goals, the risk assessment, the procurement process, the scope, the management process, quality assessment, and various aspects of operations during the project. Biography: Ron Morris is the Deputy Director of the New I-64 project. He has been with the Missouri Department of Transportation for nearly 25 years and has spent most of his career in Construction and Operations. He has held the positions of Construction Inspector, Resident Engineer, Operations Engineer and Technical Support Engineer. Ron has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla and is a Missouri registered professional engineer. Directions: B111 is on Airport Road between I-170 and McDonnell Blvd east of the Guard Station. Enter through the lobby on the south side. Room 110A is to the left of the Lunch Room.
