  1. NIBA Actief als bouwgrondstoffenproducent- en handelaar sinds 1904. Gevestigd te Arnhem, Kerkdriel, Maasbracht, Reuver, Enschede en Etten-Leur. Dochteronderneming van Hülskens GmbH & Co.KG, gevestigd te Wesel (DL).

  2. Grondstoffenvoor de bouwsector Zand en grind: ingrediënt van diverse betonproducten en asfalt. Onderscheidtussenindustriezand (beton- en metselzand; grove korrel) en ophoogzand (fijnekorrel). Geologischvoorkomen van zand en grind verschilt. Mogelijkheden tot winning vooralbeperkt door ruimtelijkefactoren.

  5. Uitgangspuntenbeleid Beoogde eindbestemming is leidend, zand- en grindwinning is facilitair. Opbrengsten uit zand- en grindwinning vormen financiële motor voor ruimtelijke gebiedsontwikkeling: hoogwaterveiligheid, recreatie, woningbouw, natuurontwikkeling.

  11. Petit histoire Start planvorming: 2002. Insteek: zandwinning ‘nieuwe stijl’ Aansluiting gezocht bij Drakenthema, samenwerking met Billy Bird Drakenrijk. Eerste schop in de grond: 2009 Start zandwinning en verkoop: mei 2010 Zandwinning en recreatie hand in hand!
