WE all make mistakes (FICTION)

In the tale of King Midas, his desire to have everything he touches turn to gold becomes his worst nightmare. Initially, Midas is overjoyed by his newfound power, only to find that his wish comes with dire consequences. The story illustrates the age-old adage, “be careful what you wish for,” as Midas realizes that his inability to enjoy life leads him to seek a way to reverse his wish. This myth remains relevant today, reminding us to consider the potential repercussions of our desires and to avoid the pitfalls of greed.
