  4. God expects to be honored (Mal. 1:6) God will punish those who do not honor Him (Mal. 2:2)

  5. GOD IS FREQUENTLY NOT HONORED • Even while being worshipped • Is. 29:13 (Mt. 15:8)… Is. 1:10-15; Lk. 18:12) • Lev. 10:1-3 • By those who should know to honor Him (I Sam. 2:27-29; Is. 43:20-24; Rom. 1:20-23) • By those who have received much from God (Lk. 17:15-18… II Tim. 3:2)

  6. JESUS WAS NOT PROPERLY HONORED EITHER • John 8:48-49… John 5:22-23 • Mt. 26:14-16 • Zechariah 11:11-13 – the value of the shepherd • Ex. 21:31

  7. WHAT IS OUR GOAL FOR THIS YEAR? • Recognize God’s value • Remember God • Honor God, God’s way

  8. May God never ask of us,“Where is My honor?”
