  1. “Finding the Secret Place”

  2. 3 I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. ~ Isa. 45:3

  3. 25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. 26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. 27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth.

  4. 28 Let him sit alone and keep silent, because God has laid it on him; ~ Lam. 3:25-28

  5. 22 And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of Jabbok. 23 He took them, sent them over the brook, and sent over what he had. 24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.

  6. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!” 27 So He said to him, “What is your name?” He said, “Jacob.” 8 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

  7. 29 Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.” And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there. 30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” 31 Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip. ~ Genesis 32:22-31

  8. 28 Let him sit alone and keep silent, because God has laid it on him; ~ Lam. 3:25-28

  9. 2 Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. ~ Psalm 131:2

  10. 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. ~ Psalm 130:5

  11. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend How deep the Father’s love for us How vast beyond all measure That He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure

  12. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend How great the pain of searing loss The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the chosen One Bring many sons to glory

  13. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend Behold the Man upon a cross My sin upon His shoulders Ashamed I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers

  14. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished His dying breath has brought me life I know that it is finished

  15. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend I will not boast in anything No gifts, no power, no wisdom But I will boast in Jesus Christ His death and resurrection

  16. How Deep the Father’s Love For Us Stuart Townsend Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer But this I know with all my heart His wounds have paid my ransoms
