  1. Visme was formerly known as EWC presenter. It allows you to create slides, banners, and infographics that can be shared on your website or downloaded as pictures. http://www.visme.co/

  2. Create a free account to get started Click on ‘Start Creating’ to set up your account You can begin working right away because you do not need to wait for an activation email Click to create a new item. You will be offered the different tools.

  3. Getting started Once you select the type of item you would like to create, you will be offered themes to choose from or a color scheme (for the custom choice). All options from then on will be linked to the theme that you select.

Content tips • Text and shape options are available in the tool • Only the content on the background color/texture will show in your finished product • When you click on an item on your slide, you will be offered additional tools related to that type of content • Images can be from the free images library or you can browse for your own images on your computer • Videos can be embedded from youtube or vimeo • Audio must be uploaded from a URL • You can accomplish this by loading your audio file to the website files and folders where you can secure a URL address to use

  6. Adding slides You add slides by opening the slide toolbar which is available on the right-click on the word ‘slides’. Click on ‘+Slides’ to select a layout for your new slide.

  7. Working with multiple slides • To switch the slide that you are working on, make sure that the slides toolbar is open on the right and double click on the slide you want. • This will change your canvas to the selected slide.

  8. Charts • The charts tool lets you use your own data to create visual representations. • Click on the chart and then ‘make a chart’. • Select the type of chart that you want and you can change the data in the box that appears.

  10. FYI • At the time of these directions, Visme does not auto-save your projects, so save as you go. • The free account allows for 3 projects. You can download them as jpegs or publish them. • There will be a visme brand on your project unless you pay for a premium account. • You can edit, duplicate, and delete projects from your dashboard.
