  3. Who opened the route to trading? • Francisco Pizzarro opened the route to trading, ranging from the Americas to Asia to Europe. Pizzarro got most of this silver by conquering the Incan empire in 1496.

  6. Negative consequences of the silver trade? • Incans were slaughtered, diseases were spread from Europe to other countries, and China became dependent on silver for all their trading.

  7. How was this important to the creation of the modern world? • Silver is a very important resource that is necessary in almost all electronics, Europe wouldn’t be as wealthy without silver, and Mexico would have way too much economic control.
