Coursera • Consortium of 150 colleges and universities providing over 3,000 courses • to over 36 million registered users. • World’s largest provider of massive online open courses. • Courses typically require 4-6 hours per week and generally run for 4 weeks • Format consists of short instructor videos, multiple choice quizzes, • peer graded deliverables and discussion forums. • Colleges provide certifications of course completion
