ECIMAT: A Pathway to EMBRC Membership for Marine Research and Education

ECIMAT meets the criteria to become a member of the EMBRC, prioritizing marine stations and institutes in countries with European coastlines. These entities are crucial for accessing marine biota and ecosystems while offering education, training, and research programs. ECIMAT collaborates with the University of Vigo's Graduate on Marine Science Program and Master on Aquaculture. It has 11 research groups actively engaged in marine studies and a dedicated budget from national funding to support its initiatives and research services.
