  3. Aims • Generate evidence to support assessments of pilots • Enable changes over time to be measured • Inform intervention

  4. Baseline Tools (1) A survey questionnaire for employees • The organisational baseline audit tool Translation-back translation

  5. Sampling and Survey Administration for Employee Questionnaire Partners should aim for a minimum of 200 questionnaires to be completed Sample frame: employees who are likely to be participating in the alcohol-related activities Sampling methodology: convenience Key principles: confidentiality and anonymity + maximising response rate

  6. Administration of Organisational Baseline Audit Tool In two parts: • a simple questionnaire to generate basic quantitative data; • interview guidelines incorporating a list of key interview topics to guide the collation of more detailed information.

  7. Data Analysis • Coding and database template (SARD) • Data inputting (pilot partner) • On-line option • Analysis (SARD)

  8. Time-Line Initial baseline: Anytime during 4 weeks before interventions begin. Follow-up: One to two months after intervention completed.
