  1. Diets of Nations The Present and Past

  2. INDIA Indian food is as current as it was 200 years ago. This means that the cuisine, overall, has not changed. Some of the foods include Nollen Sandesh, Ildis, Pan Puri, Chicken Tikki, and butter chicken. All of these foods are natural and are made fresh, which means that they are healthier then the cheap food and junk food that is made available in America and other obese countries.

  3. ITALY Italy’s cuisine consists of potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers, pasta, pizza, melons, olive oil, and pies. It is similar to the American diet. The food can be traced back to 4th century B.C. There was a significant change when they discovered the new world because there was a greater variety of food.

  4. PERU Peruvian cuisine consists of a lot of corn, bananas, rice, potatoes, chicken, pork, lamb, and fish. It is also similar to French, Chinese, and Indian cuisine. They have flavors of many different continents. They also have a very large fishing industry.

  5. AMERICA Before we ate lots of fruits vegetables and meat. In colonial times, we ate lots of soups, stews, pies, fats, oils, seafood, and alcoholic beverages. Now we eat multiple ethnic food groups, hot dogs and hamburgers, pizza, and many brands such as General Mills, Campbell's and Kraft foods. 1/3 of the American diet is junk food and soft drinks. These changes in diet lead to the health problems and obesity epidemics that have put us in a dead-lock today…

  6. Lifestyle choices Our diet is dictated mostly by our schedules and what we have time to make or eat. Because of the wealth of Americans and the abundance of food, we are always in a rush to get our next meal or snack taken care of. This means that we eat unhealthy foods not just because of the taste, but because they are simply convenient. This is why so many wealthy and “hurried” countries are obese today.
