Recirculation of discharge • Liquid ring pump • Dry ring pump • Ejector • Eccentric vane pump
To Vacuum Pump Automatic Vent Valve Vacuum Tank (with Lever Controller) Pump Suction
Deck • Hydraulic Room • Hydraulic Pump • Accumulator • Pipeline to Hydraulic Motor • Hydraulic Motor
Hydraulic Motor • Variable speed • Power • High efficiency • Energy consumption according to actual need • Soft start (no inrush peaks)
Control • Independent control for each pump • Accurate, variable control • Low mechanical wear (impeller/casing) • Low cavitation • Programmable • Minimized discharge time • Minimum cavitation • Liquid level • Specific gravity • Connection to cargo-monitoring
Stripping Procedure • When the cargo tank is empty, the cargo stripping pump valve has to be opened and the main cargo valve to be closed. • The running cargo left is purged by means of inert gas or air via the stripping line pipe into the cargo line on deck. • During purging/stripping procedure, the pump should be kept running ( the impeller acts as a dynamic foot valve) until the cargo pipe has purged empty • This procedure will generate an absolute minimum of the remaining cargo in the pump well
Pump Body • It is welded or flanged to the pipestack. • The hydraulic motor is very compact and located inside the pumphead and surrounded by return hydraulic oil. • Short independent shaft supported by bearings lubricated by hydraulic oil • Connected to the impeller.
Features • Pump material – stainless steel • Stepless capacity control/remote operation • Single stage, single suction, axially balanced • Smooth surface unit – easy to clean • Anti-rotation brake – loading thru’ pump • Bearing lubricated by hydraulic oil • Designed for dry running • In tank replacement without interfering hydraulic section
