Scratchboard. Using Crayons color a white page with hard pressure. Fill the entire space brightly. Get rid of as much white as possible – it will make your final piece better. Using India Ink (CAREFUL – IT STAINS BADLY) paint over your crayon design Use small amount – a LITTLE goes a LONG WAY.

  2. Using Crayons color a white page with hard pressure

  3. Fill the entire space brightly

  4. Get rid of as much white as possible – it will make your final piece better

  5. Using India Ink (CAREFUL – IT STAINS BADLY) paint over your crayon design • Use small amount – a LITTLE goes a LONG WAY

  6. Cover the whole thing

  7. Let it dry for a few minutes and put a 2nd coat on • It dries fast

  8. A • Once it dries, pick a letter off the back walland trace your letter on to your scratch board in the center

  9. You will also need to draw an object that represents that letter

  10. Begin to scratch out your letter and object • All of the black WILL NOT scratch away
