  2. Meet Dr. Paul T. Anast, DMD Wicker Park Chicago Dentist Dr. Anast grew up in Rockford, IL and knew he wanted to become a dentist at a young age. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology for Medical Sciences from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He then attended Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He moved to Chicago after graduating dental school and practiced as an associate for several years before purchasing Kimberly Smiles in December 2011.
