  1. Pre-Service ShowNotes to Pastor Hagan

  2. We consider it an honor to serve with someone so passionate about the Word. We appreciate your love for different kinds of music and your willingness to allow us to introduce twentieth century hymns, songs and original works in worship. The trip to Israel with you and Libby was a blessing we are so thankful to have shared. Shalom, Dale & Suzy Lindeke

  3. Attila and I really appreciated Pastor Hagan's clear biblical teachings on Lutheran doctrine; always bringing law and Gospel into focus.  Sally & Attila Bartha

  4. We are thankful to you for so many things.  Thank you for sharing with us your gift of preaching and teaching the Word -- especially through Bible Class, Confirmation and Sunday Services.  We've also always really enjoyed your great sense of humor, and how you're able to incorporate it into everything you do!  Thank you also, for being there with our family during the good times and celebrations (Kyle and Sarah's wedding comes to mind) -- and also during the difficult times of Mom's illness and death.  You are truly an encourager, and we are grateful for you. God bless you and your family, Pastor, now and in the future, as you serve Jesus and our troops in Iraq.  We pray His guidance for you in the future. We love you, Pastor! In Christ, The Heck Family (Terry, Debbie, Melissa, Jason, Tyler)

  5. Preaching & Teaching! Ron Bergman

  6. I would like to thank Pastor for his faithfulness in serving us with the truth and purity of the Bible.  He visited me when I was recovering from a stroke  in a nursing home and it really uplifted me.  I admire his knowledge and his gift of teaching.  Thank you for everything. Eleanor Griffith

  7. Thank you for your wonderful teaching and preaching. We will miss you. Marcia Newman

  8. Thank you, Ray, for allowing me to serve the people of Resurrection – especially the women –  as Director of Women’s Ministries. It has been a joy to do that and to work with you. The many staff meetings will be a good part of my memories. May God bless you in the years ahead. Elaine Nelson

  9. I thank Pastor Hagan for is his teaching and staying true to the Word. Jacob Denning

  10. We thank you for your total commitment to God, your family, your country; your integrity shows. We remember you giving extra hours to Debra for her needs, gifts you gave her on your travels. We remember your visit to our home before I entered the hospital; what encouragement our prayer time was to us. We thank you, Pastor, most of all for your powerful sermons – a great communicator. Lawrence was impressed also. John and Marlene Wright (Numbers 6:24-25 RSVB)

  11. What I most admire/remember/thank Pastor Hagan for: • Pastor Hagan’s thirst for the pure Word of God. • For using his God-given Gifts of teaching & preaching sound biblical doctrine. • Sharing his joy over worshipful music. • Leading us to rise on hymns’ last verses in God’s honor. • Meri Beck

  12. You have done well thou good and faithful servant! We bid you to goon and proclaim the good news of the Kingdom. Richard Gerken

  13. Your constant focus on Baptism has helped me to daily remember my baptism. Rich and I have appreciated your warmth to the “old” pastor and his wife. We always felt welcomed here by you. You are the first pastor we ever had to part with. Thanks for being our pastor. Kathie Gerken

  14. Pastor Hagan is caring, friendly, sense of humor, good sermons; will miss him so much. Joan Wolfe

  15. First off, thank you Pastor for loving our family and believing in us. What I admired most about Pastor Hagan was his ability to affirm a person to be exactly who God made them to be; flourish in their giftedness, calling and personhood. Pastor Hagan is a person of integrity who is honest, sincere and non-judgmental. Jim, Kayoko, Toshio & Kiyomi Mozley

  16. I most admire that he tried so hard to speak German with me!! Trudy Osley

  17. I will remember him most for his Sunday morning Bible classes. They were great and unfortunately I had to miss them for the past year. It is a talent that probably won’t get used in his new administrative assignment. Hal Hummel

  18. I really appreciated when Pastor left an out-of-town meeting to come to my home when my daughter, Jeanette, was dying. I also have admired the depth of study shown when he presented Sunday morning Bible classes. Betty Cissell

  19. Pastor Hagan & Libby, I appreciate your Bible knowledge; you challenged us to share the gospel often; your strong belief in 6-day Creation week; how you challenged the confirmands to memorize. God Bless you and your family and your new life mission. Linda Neilsen

  20. Thank you Pastor Hagan for challenging me in my walk with God. I really enjoyed the prayer services with questions. God’s blessings, Jeanmarie Kaehler

  21. Through all my personal trials and tribulations, Pastor was always there willing to listen to me and give me Biblically sound advice.  Being so far away from home, these conversations were of the utmost value to me as I struggled through different situations.  Know Pastor that you will always be loved by me, and that I couldn’t have asked for a better vicarage experience. Thank you so much. Matt Mantey

  22. I want to thank you for preaching and teaching the pure true Word. I also really enjoyed the multimedia part of sermons. Karen Kaehler

  23. Once Pastor made up his mind about something, there was no stopping him. Several winters ago when Seattle received a lot of snow, he spent the good part of a day shoveling the whole walkway up to the front door so that our members could come to church. Two winters ago, he and Dustin drove their cars with chains around the lower parking lot all day on Christmas Eve trying ever so hard to compact the HUGE amount of snow that fell that day hoping we could still have our evening services. True dedication to serve his church! Judy Schwanke
