Comprehensive Support for International Students at ISSU: Counseling Services Offered

The International Student Support Unit (ISSU) provides free, confidential counseling for international students and their families. Our qualified psychologists and social workers understand the unique challenges faced by students from diverse cultural backgrounds. We assist with homesickness, relationship issues, and adjusting to life in Sydney and at the University. Additionally, our University Counselling Service offers workshops for postgraduate students, addressing motivation, supervision, writing blocks, time management, and exam anxiety. Professional Counsellors • ISSU works in cooperation with Faculty staff and your representative body, SUPRA • Free, confidential individual psychological counselling for international students and accompanying family members • Qualified and trained counselling psychologists and/or social workers • Experienced in working with students from range of language and cultural backgrounds • Experienced in working with post-graduate students
