The Virtual Mapping initiative aims to identify shared areas of interest, termed "Hot Spots," for collaboration between WWF and TOI. This project seeks to develop a comprehensive database of these Hot Spots, facilitating joint efforts in sustainable tourism development. Starting in marine and coastal regions, initial projects will highlight the potential for impactful cooperation. The mapping includes specific WWF regions and TOI destinations, with a focus on UNESCO Sites for enhanced collaboration. Together, WWF and TOI can advance sustainable development in critical areas.
