  2. Are The Needs Understood? Yes, they are S15-Capacity Building Needs_Group 4_Mono/Polytechnics

Capacity Building Needs • IWRM curriculum development at HND and higher levels • ToTs (Human Resource Development) • Training facilities, e.g. internet access, audio-visuals. • Awareness needs for Policy-makers and Curriculum-planners, e.g. NBTE (National Board for Technical Education) S15-Capacity Building Needs_Group 4_Mono/Polytechnics

  4. Is There Capacity To Deliver Training and Education in IWRM? • Human resource capacity is available in CBIs especially at NWRI, being a node of WA-Net. • However, other capacity training needs are still lacking, such as: • Resource Persons in some components of IWRM like health issues, ecosystems, and legal issues. • Funding to organise targeted training programs. S15-Capacity Building Needs_Group 4_Mono/Polytechnics

  5. Other Capacity Training Needs • Institutional capacity needs like internet access and audio-visuals for training. • Development of an IWRM Library to stock relevant documents and literature for both trainers and trainees. • Existing member institutions need capacity training in different specialized aspects of IWRM. • Resource Persons from other regional networks may be needed to assist S15-Capacity Building Needs_Group 4_Mono/Polytechnics
