  10. We are only 2% of global emissions • So is iron and steel. Or the UK. And this is an RFI=1 statement. • ‘We have made fuel efficiency improvements’ • Every sector with a significant energy cost base has made similar improvements • Climate targets need to go demonstrably further than historical trends

  12. Conclusion • Embrace IATA 2050 and colour it in • Industry can act to help unblock ICAO by addressing the question of who should move first • Asian companies have to move faster – CDP as a first step • Public and government opinion is moving faster than you think
