In Psalms the phrase “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever” is found in numerous verses…. (see Psalm 106:1,7; 107:1; 118:1,29; 136:1; 1 Chronicles 16:34) We usually thank others for things they do, but God is worthy of thanks because of His Character: He is Good, He is loving.
